Ethical Decision-Making in AI-Assisted Care

CE Hours 1

About this course

As AI tools become more integrated into both provider workflows and client self-care routines, clinicians are faced with nuanced ethical decisions that didn’t exist a decade ago. From clinicians using AI to assist with notes or decision support, to clients arriving with insights from chatbots and mental health apps, therapists must navigate a rapidly evolving digital landscape without compromising ethical care. In this webinar, we’ll explore real-world scenarios and ethical dilemmas tied to AI use in therapy. We’ll draw from professional codes (APA, NASW, ACA), unpack clinical risks and responsibilities, and offer concrete strategies for maintaining trust and integrity in tech-assisted care.
