Dr. LaShawn C. Williams is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and educator with over 20 years of experience at the intersection of mental health, education, and relational transformation. She holds a Doctorate in Education with a focus on Health Professions Education, a Master’s in Social Work, and a Master’s in Public Administration, and is licensed to practice in the state of Utah.

Dr. Williams’ professional journey spans clinical practice, academia, and community advocacy. Her clinical expertise includes working with adolescents in juvenile justice and foster care, couples in crisis, families navigating disconnection, and individuals exploring core identity. Her work is rooted in Relational-Cultural Theory and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, emphasizing the transformative power of authentic connection and values-based living.

In higher education, Dr. Williams has served as faculty and program director at multiple institutions, teaching and mentoring future social workers while advancing dialogue on diversity, inclusion, and cultural humility in the classroom. Dr. Williams is the founder of Relational Spaces, a private practice and consulting firm offering therapeutic services, curriculum consultation, and professional training. She is also a certified yoga teacher, integrating mind-body approaches into her work with clients and communities.
